Tomahawk School District voters April 4 will decide a school referendum question.

District Administrator Terry Reynolds outlines the question...

"....what we're asking for a non-recurring referendum. We're asking $3 million each year for the next four years, sunsetting in 20121...."

Reynolds says the money, if approved, would be used to continue operations in the school district. He says Tomahawk schools have not gone to operation referendum before....

The Tomahawk Chamber of Commerce is looking for a new Executive Director.

Tamra Anderson announced she would be leaving the job April 1. She has been Director for 7 years.

Anderson says it's time for a person with fresh ideas to take the chamber to the next level. She says she's taking a new unnamed position in a field that she is passionate about.

She thanked Chamber members for her support. Chamber President Andy Hein says the chamber is accepting resumes to fill Anderson's position.

They're cooking them until their gone....the 48th Annual Venison Feed is Friday in downtown Tomahawk.

Chamber Executive Director Tamra Anderson says they are ready for hungry hunters...


"'s our free feed in downtown Tomahawk. This year we're going to give away about 1600 venison burgers....we fire up 5 grills starting at about 10:00 o'clock and we start serving burgers around 11:30....."

The event is free. She says its a way to say thanks to the community...
