Former Rhinelander Man Gets 10 Years For $1.3 Million Insurance Fraud

A former Rhinelander man has been sentenced to just over 10 years in prison for using the U.S. Mail to defraud insurance companies and must repay more than a million dollars.

43 year old John Henricks III, now of Amherst, had pleaded guilty last August in federal court.

U.S. Judge Barbara Crabb in Madison determined Henricks was responsible for using his prior business, Custom Collision, a body repair shop in Rhinelander, to defraud 19 auto insurance companies out of more than $1.3 million by staging accidents and creating false work invoices.
