Jessie Dick

Marketing

Jessie joined WXPR in 2003. She grew up in southern Wisconsin, but her Grandparents have always called the Northwoods home.

She feels thrilled to work with such a talented and dedicated group of volunteers and staff, and enjoys meeting and getting to know the supporters that make WXPR happen.

When she’s not at WXPR, she’s reading, biking, skiing, or spending time with her husband and son.

WXPR listeners hear Jessie during fun-drives, weekly on All Things Considered, and occasionally on Morning Edition

Jessie holds a BS in Design from Colorado State University.

Ways To Connect

On the first day of WXPR Christmas my radio friends gave to me...

Pledge your support to WXPR during our "5 Days of WXPR Christmas"  (December 9th through the 13th).  Each day you pledge, you'll be entered into a new drawing. We will have something fun each day.

Plus, tune in Saturday to hear live Polka and Bluegrass!

Support WXPR

Happy Holidays!

Become a WXPR Sustaining Member! Pledge $5.00 a month and as our thanks WXPR will send you the Our Wisconsin 2015 Calendar

The pictures in this calendar make a solid contention that Wisconsin is one of the prettiest states in the nation. But for those of us who live here, that case is already closed.

Flipping through the pages of this calendar is like taking a photo tour of the seasons...from the promise of spring...the warmth of summer...the color of fall...to the purity of winter.

Starting Monday, December 1 listeners will hear a local 6:00 p.m. newscast on WXPR.  If you have a busy afternoon and can't tune in during All Things Considered, you can now catch up on local news at 6:00 p.m. Plus, our central Wisconsin listeners can now hear WXPR news.

There’s a structure to NPR newsmagazine programs on WXPR that’s about to change.

NPR news shows are governed by a ‘clock.’ These graphical representations of each hour lay out what happens in a program and when

Whether it’s a newscast, A Writer’s Almanac, Marketplace Morning Report or a report from a community contributor, it happens at a precise time according to the clock.

This clock coordinates between hosts in NPR’s studios in Washington and WXPR’s hosts, so we don’t end up talking over each other.

Listen to Morning Edition while you sip your morning coffee in our new WXPR Diner Mug. Available for a pledge of $120 or more. Thanks!
