The Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce is hosting an information session for area businesses on the unfolding provisions of the Affordable Care Act.
Executive Director Lara Reed outlines the "Lunch and Learn" gathering...
"...the whole idea is to take a look at the bill...what it means for small businesses. Things you need to know, how it will apply to your business and what (businesses) can do to be ready when it is implemented in 2014...."
The main provisions of the act, known as Obamacare, begin in 2014. Reed says this is a good time for businesses to get more familar with the law and its impacts.
Local benefits advisor Jennifer Cordy will present the program.
The Lunch and Learn program at the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce is set for Tuesday, July 16 over the lunch hour.
Reservations are requested as seating is limited.
