Joseph Brown is an Assistant Professor of digital media and performing arts at Marquette University. Brown is working on a feature documentary on Rod Coronado and a group called the Wolf Patrol, who photograph hunters on public lands to monitor behavior. They were near Laona in late January when they began monitoring a group of hunters. The hunters became upset and a confrontation happened.
Brown and Coronado's group brought their cameras into a vehicle and waited for law enforcement to arrive.
Eventually law enforcement began sorting out the confrontation. Brown tells the story at that point...
A call this week to the Forest County District Attorney's office concerning possible charges in the incident was not returned.
