Governor Walker and his cabinet will be in the Northwoods this week to talk about bringing more economic development here.
The Governor's Northern Wisconsin Economic Development Summit comes to The Waters in Minocqua beginning Wednesday and continuing on Thursday.
Governor Walker will keynote an address after 9:00 a.m. Thursday.
Cabinet Secretaries from Tourism, DNR, Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Affairs, DOT and several others will be on hand.
Broadband is highlighted, along with job training, starting or growing a local food business, transportation and forestry issues among other topics will be highlighted over the two days.
Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch will also be in attendance.
