Einer Ingman To Be Buried Wednesday

Einer Ingman died September 9.  He was 85.  He was given the Medal Of Honor for his action against Chinese machine gun nests where he was critically wounded in 1951. The citation read  that because of Ingman's actions, the enemy forces were broken, the squad achieved it's objective and more than 100 hostile troops had fled. Ingman suffered extensive injuries

He is just one of five Medal of Honor recipients from the Korean War from Wisconsin. President Harry Truman gave him the Medal of Honor, along with two purple hearts,  the Korean Service Medal with three bronze service stars.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. at  Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. At approximately 12:30 p.m. a procession will wind it's way through the streets of Tomahawk from the church before ending at the Oak Hill Cemetary in the town of Skanawan.
