According to the State Fire Marshal and Woodruff Fire Department Tuesday afternoon, the cause of the fire in Woodruff Monday night is officially “undetermined."
It was originally reported that it took at least eight fire crews from surrounding communities to put out the fire that burned everything inside a hangar at the Dolhun Field Airport. WJFW-TV now reports that it actually took 12 fire departments, 200,000 gallons of water, and seven hours to put out the fire.
The hangar was being used to store boats, recreational vehicles, and snowmobiles. While no one was hurt in the fire, WJFW-TV reports that millions of dollars' worth of boats, RVs, cars, and snowmobiles were a total loss.
