A proposal by the Trump Administration would cut the long-running Land and Water Conservation Fund by a large amount. The fund has been around in a bipartisan manner since 1964 and needs to be renewed within the next year by Congress. The fund has provided core dollars for many conservation-related actions in Wisconsin and Michigan.
