Marshfield Clinic has filed an appeal with the Oneida County Zoning Board of Adjustment to overturn the Planning and Development Committee’s denial of a conditional use permit Marshfield needs to build a skilled nursing facility at their Minocqua location.
Marshfield’s assistant general counsel Dan Kirschnik wants 45 days from the Oct. 15 filing to “investigate other relevant land uses that have been previously allowed in Oneida County and which may be relevant to the matter before the Board.”
Kirschnik also proposes a “pre-appeal” meeting with the board of adjustment “to discuss the scope of its review, the process it envisions, or would intend to allow, and the procedure for the appeal.”
Director of Planning and Zoning Karl Jennrich said on Friday that no dates have been set either for the pre-appeal meeting or the actual hearing itself.
