More Charges For Nitschke, Millard

More charges have been added to a Rhinelander man's file already facing  felony methamphetamine related charges on Monday.

49 year old Richard Nitschke had two more felony charges added to his file Tuesday in Oneida County Court. District Attorney Michael Schiek said officers responding to a warrant allege he engaged in a new production after another session where he was arrested...

"....so it's a new and distinct incident, separate from what happened between April 1 and April 30 that's alleged in the other complaint. It's new activity judge and is certainly grounds for new bail jumpings and new charges...."

On Monday, Judge Patrick O'Melia set a $10,000 cash bond on Nitschke. Since authorities allege Nitschke and girlfriend Andrea Healey manufactured another batch after an earlier warrant was served, he was charged with two more counts and given another $5,000 cash bond by Judge O'Melia. Nitschke is the son of Green Bay Packers legend Ray Nitschke.

Also Tuesday, The man who turned himself in to Oneida county Monday was in court Tuesday, and faces two misdemeanor charges after being considered an escapee. But he also is facing more court time for alleged unpaid child support in Oneida county.  41 year old Ronald Millard, Jr. had bond of $1,500 set by Judge Patrick O'Melia. On another matter, Assistant Corporation Counsel Tom Wiensch  said Millard is far behind in child support, owing more than $110,000 in support and interest in Oneida county.. Judge Patrict O'Melia asked Millard why he didn't show up for an earlier case..

"...(O'Melia) How many days were you in jail?(Millard) I did 113 days, Your Honor.(O'Melia) In which county?(Millard)....Vilas county..child support..."

Millard was considered an escapee Monday after he left Howard Young Medical Center without permission, but later turned himself in.
