Joblessness in the Northwoods continues to decline.
The unemployment rate in all the Northwoods counties is down from one year ago, in some cases nearly two percent.
In Forest it was 5.2 percent in October. In Langlande it was 4.7 percent. In Lincoln county the rate was 3.9 percent, Oneida 4.2 percent, Vilas is at 5 percent. Iron county is at 6.3 percent and Price is at 3.5 percent.
Preliminary October 2015 rates decreased in all of Wisconsin's 72 counties compared to rates in October 2014. The latest rates ranged from 2.6 percent in Dane to 7.9 percent in Menominee county.
