The bus.

You might see a big green and gold bus around the Northwoods and the U.P. and inside are members of the Green Bay Packers doing their annual Tailgate tour.

Tickets are going fast for a Friday evening event in Rhinelander to benefit Frederick House homeless shelter. Frederick House Director Tammy Modic says the stops include raising money for one local non-profit, and in Rhinelander, it's Frederick House.

Modic says the team will be a Mulligan's at Northwood Golf Course at 5:00 p.m. Friday and will then head to a large rally planned at Rhinelander High School for 6:00 p.m...

"....we still have a few tickets it's definitely under 50 of the 600 we have available. They're available at Trig's or Best Embroidery in Rhinelander...."

Modic says if those tickets are sold, there are less expensive tickets available that offer fewer amenities.

She says the Packers are picking up the cost of some of the trip and proceeds stay locally...

"...100 percent of the profit from this event is going to NATH for the operation of Frederick Place...it's a way for (the Packers) to say 'thank you' to their fans by coming to these events as well as showcase one non-profit in each of their cities..."

Modic says the tour includes Packer President Mark Murphy, three active players, Jake Ryan, Aaron Ripkowski and Brett Hundley are joined by alumni Ryan Longwell, Ahman Green and Robert Ferguson.

Modic says as the team heads to the high school, they will move down Brown Street with a police escort and she says the public can stop down to see the Packers bus.
