Registrations are open for one of the Northwoods prime spring events--Journey's Marathon which is run across portions of the Northwoods.
This is the 19th year for the event, and Eagle River Chamber of Commerce spokesperson Ashley Schwartz says the run/walk event has a distance and style to match your level of fitness...

The full marathon...26.2 miles... is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. The event begins in Boulder Junction and ends in Eagle River.
Schwartz says as of today, 350 participants have signed up, but she says they anticipate more than 1,000 runners or walkers by event day on May 9.
