A Rhinelander man has died after a motorcycle-truck accident Thursday afternoon east of the city.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Department reports 26-year-old Charles S. Eye died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Eye was taken by helicopter to an area hospital after the crash in the town of Pelican.
The Sheriff's office reports they were called shortly after 3:30 p.m. about a crash on county highway "P".
Eye was initially taken to Ascension-St. Mary's Hospital then flown to another hospital.
Deputies say Eye's motorcycle was eastbound and crossed the center line, colliding with one vehicle. The motorcycle then struck another vehicle in the westbound lane and ended up in the ditch.
