The Oneida County Tourism Council has a contest going to see if they can get more visitors here during our shortened winter season. Called the "Winter Wish List Sweepstakes", the contest is sponsored by the nine communities of Oneida county says Council spokesperson Kari Zambon...
"....everyday we've been getting a little more and a little more and the trails are getting better and better. The trails are now open and the lakes are now frozen so the winter activities will be back to normal, I hope. We hope to see more of the people who love to come north in the winter and maybe a few new ones with the contest...."
The communities of Oneida county, Hazelhurst, Lake Tomahawk, Minocqua, Pelican Lake, Rhinelander, and Three Lakes are joined by Tomahawk and a portion of St. Germain in Vilas county for the contest.
To enter the sweepstakes, visitors can go to the Oneida countywebsiteor Facebook page and click on the Winter Wish List icon. The winter getaway prize is valued at more than $300.
