The Vilas County Fall Accomodation Tour and Workshop is being held next month and business owners will see whether their business plan works, or not.
The annual tour is co-sponsored by the Vilas County Tourism and Publicity Department, Vilas County Chamber and the Northwoods Chapter of the Hotel and Lodging Association.
It's hosted this year by the Manitowish Waters Chamber.
County Chamber President Theresa Smith says the event is open to all Vilas county businesses, but focuses on accomodation providers. Michele Madl-Soehren from Nicolet College will give a presentation and Smith says it's about refreshing a business plan..

"....this particular discussion is geared towards current business owners and the importance of reviewing the business plan that they started with and just reviewing it and making sure the image is what they want to portray is out there and getting life back into their business...."
The tour is set for October 10. Registration is at Chippewa Retreat at 8 a.m. Pre-registration is required and more information is available through local Chambers of Commerce or Vilas County Tourism and Publicity.
