A Lac du Flambeau tribal member and senior at Lakeland Union High School has been awarded a unique scholarship opportunity and plans to work toward a chemical engineering degree at UW-Madison this fall.

Next month high school seniors and others have a chance to get instant help filling out the forms needed to apply for college financial aid.

Each winter, College Goal Wisconsin is held at a number of places around the state.

Nicolet College is hosting a session on February 27 at the Learning Resources Center. A few days earlier, February 24, a session is scheduled at the Education Center in Lac du Flambeau.
